New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin’s game has been compared by some to the Phoenix Suns’ Steve Nash. Lin has been quick in his attempts to dismiss the comparisons, but Lin showed a Nash-like ability to dish the rock on Tuesday that will only encourage those comparisons. Lin had a double-double finishing with a career-high 13 assists and 10 points as the Knicks beat the Sacramento Kings 100-85.
Lin had 9 assists alone in the first half with a couple of lobs and passes that led to dunks. Lin struggled again in the turnovers department with 6, but the game was never in question to where it was a factor.
So how does Nash think about Lin?
“Its crazy! I’m watching #Linsanity hoping every shot goes in,” Nash tweeted on Monday. “Hope I never grow up.”
Jeremy Lin continues to amaze the masses! Committing 7 turnovers against a putrid Kings defense is a miraculous achievement. #Linsanity
“Guess what I’ve been busy doing? I’ve been so busy watching all of Jeremy Lin’s videos! He’s *so* amazing!” – my gushing mother
