Kobe Bryant hit a game-clinching three pointer with 6.8 seconds left in the game to seal a 91-87 Lakers’ victory over the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday night. Kobe received an inbounds pass and pulled the trigger from well behind the 3-point line. The ball bounced and rattled around the rim for a while before dropping through the net. Holding his follow-through pose during the duration of the flight and fall of the shot, Bryant transitions to the finger-gun and takes aim at a teammate. By reading Kobe’s lips it becomes apparent that he drew the ‘pew-pew’ laser gun as opposed to one of his more traditional ‘bang-bang’ or ‘pow-pow’ firefingers which would require him to blow smoke from the barrels. New age, new weapons for the Kobe.
